Sekar Buen is an Indonesian batik enterprise based in East Kalimantan, operating under PT Sekar Buen Nusantara. We create authentic handcrafted batik inspired by the rich biodiversity, indigenous culture, and living heritage of Borneo.

Our collections combine traditional batik craftsmanship with contemporary design, featuring signature motifs such as the Hornbill, Sambar Deer, Black Orchid, and other iconic elements of Kalimantan. Each piece is carefully handcrafted by skilled women artisans, preserving traditional techniques while creating products that meet modern global lifestyles.

Sustainability is at the heart of our business. We integrate environmentally responsible production by utilizing natural dyes alongside high-quality textile processes, promoting responsible sourcing, minimizing waste, and empowering local women through fair employment and continuous skills development.
