Woven cotton Cual cloth is a traditional cloth of Bangka Belitung Province that is manually made with non-mechanized loom to empower the local people of Bangka Belitung. The process of making cloth with this loom has a relatively high level of complexity, especially in arranging strand by strand of thread into a motif. In Bangka Belitung, there is an original woven cloth with a flower motif of "Kantong Semar". This motif contains a philosophy that in life humans must collaborate, unite, help each other, be useful to society, obedient to leaders, live frugally and be modest.
