Tujuh Laksana

Tujuh Laksana (Sadu Perdana) is a KUBE (Kelompok Usaha Bersama) cooperative producing traditional songket weaving from Desa Perayun, Karimun, Riau Islands. Each cloth is handwoven manually using traditional looms, developed through a program that empowers local women, and features distinctive Malay motifs and patterns unique to the Riau Islands. Beyond woven cloth, Tujuh Laksana also produces derivative products such as ready-to-wear clothing and destar/tanjak (traditional Malay headwear). Its products have reached markets across Indonesia as well as internationally in Singapore and Malaysia.
