Pinalo

Pinalo was born from a vision to create new economic opportunities for Lombok by harnessing its natural resources. We started with pineapple leaves, teaching farmers in East Lombok how to extract fiber, and developed scraping machines with Ondak Jaya Senior High School to improve the process. The dried fiber was then hand-woven by 30 women in weaving villages into the remarkable fabric we named Pinalo. We later expanded into our own product line, partnering with more sewing communities in Lombok to further empower women. Pinalo is not about me—it is about us, and it represents a shared opportunity for a better life for everyone involved.
