Batik Walang Kekek is a hand-drawn batik MSME from Surakarta, founded by Ester Wulandari—daughter-in-law of Keroncong Maestro Mrs. Waldjinah—as a commitment to preserving Indonesia's batik heritage. Born from Mrs. Waldjinah's love for batik, the brand features over 500 rare ancestral motifs from the early 20th century, each rich in history and philosophy.

Its uniqueness lies in the acculturation of European, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, and Thai influences, harmoniously blended with Javanese batik styles, both royal and mercantile. Each piece reflects the cultural journey that has shaped Indonesian batik identity.

Through the Walang Kekek Batik Preservation Association of Surakarta, rare motifs are documented, preserved, and developed to stay relevant today.
