Batik Kagano

Batik Kagano was established in 2019 as the signature batik of North Bengkulu Regency, inspired by the region’s endemic biodiversity and local wisdom, including the Enggano White-eye bird, Rafflesia Kemumu, and other native flora and fauna. Its products include hand-drawn batik, stamped batik, contemporary batik, apparel, accessories, and souvenirs. Batik Kagano’s competitive advantage lies in its original motifs that convey cultural stories, the use of environmentally friendly dyes in selected products, and its commitment to community empowerment through training programs for village artisans, people with disabilities, prison inmates, and young people, creating sustainable economic, social, and cultural value.
