Alfa Shoofa

Alfa Shoofa originated from an embroidery business named Shoofa Bordir, founded in 1991. In 2008, the business expanded into the batik industry under the name Alfa Batik, and later in 2013, it officially adopted Alfa Shoofa as its brand identity. Alfa Shoofa is committed to preserving authentic Kudus batik by reproducing once-extinct motifs as well as developing original ones. Several of its manufactured batik motifs have secured Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) protection, and Alfa Shoofa's batik products have been certified with the Batik Mark Indonesia (BMI) as a quality assurance from the Center for Handicraft and Batik, Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia.
